Snoqualmie Falls lies on the road from Seattle to the Cascade Mountains. Well, one
of the roads.

The Falls is very pretty and the park around it is nicely laid out. There
is a lodge overlooking the falls.

And a gift shop (of course).
After viewing the falls from the top, there is a trail leading to the bottom.
It runs through the woods and ends up at a power generating station at the base of
the falls.

From the bottom of the falls there is path around to a view from the bottom.
It's well worth the walk down.
Of course, whether or not it is worth
the walk back up is a matter of viewpoint. The falls is 300 feet from top to bottom
(or bottom to top!).
After we had visited the falls Lynne happened to be watching a rerun
of the television show Twin Peaks.
Imagine her surprise when she realized that the falls and the lodge
in the television show were familiar!
